Advancing knowledge sharing across East and West Africa

The 5th Tanzania Energy Cooperation Summit 2024 (TECS) highlighted Tanzania's potential and advancement towards a regional power market. It established a solid partnership between EnergyNet and the East African Community (EAC), showcasing the commitment to driving progress in the energy sector across East Africa.

Energy plays a pivotal role in the economic development of the region, and achieving market integration will boost more sustainable, affordable, and efficient power growth.

In alignment with this vision, the new, East Africa Energy Cooperation Summit (EA-ECS) will explore how cross-border cooperation and economic cohesion can bolster energy development.
